Oval and Green

This week the preschoolers traced ovals...

Looked all over for the color green, we talked about everything we knew that was green. Audrey was finding and pointing to everything in the Dora book that was green:)

We colored turtles green.

We ate oval snacks.

We made Green Specked Frogs, sang the song and acted it out with our puppets.

We also had green grapes with our oval crackers.

We also made our own Humpty Dumpty. We sang the song and acted it out with our finger puppet.

I also demonstrated what happens to an egg if it falls off a wall like Humpty Dumpty:)

Triangle and Yellow Week

For our Triangle week, we made triangles out of pretzel sticks and candy drops...

We also worked on the color yellow, we found a lot of Yellow things in our classroom! We also made a yellow sun.

For snack this week we had triangle crackers and yellow bananas.

Hannah is showing me her triangle she made out of craft sticks:)

We also read a story about cute little yellow chicks, and made our own little chick to take home!

The rest of week 1...

We were working on the color Red and circles the first week. We made a stop light. It went perfectly with our character building trait, Obedience. We talked about needing to obey the lights so we can all be safe.

We also played some fun games of Red Light Green Light and also Simon Says.
